#029 Step by Step Tutorial - Darker Skins in Pencil & Pitt Pens

This 30 page step by step tutorial shows you how to create wonderfully realistic skin tones for darker people using Coloured Pencils and Faber Castell Pitt Pens. It includes multiple full colour images and detailed instructions. To assist you in completing this tutorial, I have also completed a Speed Drawing of the process which you can view on YouTube.

This tutorial has been done using predominantly Faber Castell Polychromos, Derwent Coloursoft and Caran D'ache Pablos. If you do not have these particular brands of coloured pencil, it is recommended that you also download the Coloured Pencil Conversion Charts so that you will know which colours to substitute from your own range of pencils.

Faber Castell Pitt Pens were also used to under-paint certain areas in this portrait. You can still complete this tutorial without using any Pitt pens. It is recommended that you read through the entire portrait before purchasing any new materials.
