#022 Step by Step Tutorial - Using Coloured Pencils on Canvas
This 26 page comprehensive drawing tutorial takes you through, step by step, and shows you how you can create this charming scene of the mouse eyeing off the jelly beans using Coloured pencils and Derwent Inktense pencils on canvas. The background colour has been painted using Jo Sonja's Background colour in Charcoal, but you are also given other options as to how to complete the black background such as Caran D'ache Neocolors or Colourfix Primer. You can also apply the colours and techniques used in this tutorial to paper if you would prefer not to work on canvas.
This tutorial has been done using predominantly Faber Castell Polychromos and Caran D'ache Pablos. If you do not have these particular brands of coloured pencil, it is recommended that you also download the Coloured Pencil Conversion Charts, so that you will know which colours to substitute from your own range of pencils.
